Leek tart tatin

Les Polines offers you a revisit of the famous tarte tatin in a savory version incorporating leeks!

A beautiful, tasty and quick to prepare pie.



Ingredients for 4 persons :

  • 6 leeks
  • 1 puff pastry
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons of honey
  • Thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation :
  • Preheat the oven to 180°.
  • In your tart pan pour a tablespoon of balsamic vinegar and a tablespoon of olive oil.
  • Spread the mixture using a kitchen brush.
  • Cut the leeks into sections (without the branches)
  • Spread them over the entire surface of the tart pan.
  • Sprinkle everything with thyme then drizzle with one to two tablespoons of honey.
  • Then place your puff pastry on top to cover the entire top of the dish.
  • Prick the dough in several places with a fork.
  • Bake for 30 minutes at 180 degrees.
  • All you have to do is let it cool for a few minutes and enjoy.
The tasting :

Add a little salt to taste and accompany the tart with a generous spoonful of onion & curry vegetable jam .
